  • Install Web Server Software: Have your Web server software installed before you begin enrollment.
  • Proxy Settings: Getronics PinkRoccade's enrollment is Web based, and uses SSL to protect the information that you submit. Please make sure that your firewall/proxy settings permit your to make secure connections outside your firewall.
  • Determine Payment Method: Payment by credit card, purchase order, or check is required for enrollment.
  • Review Legal Agreement: You will be asked to agree to the Getronics PinkRoccade Server Subscriber Agreement before completing your application.

Step 1: Confirm Domain Name
Getronics PinkRoccade can only issue a Server ID to the registered owner of a domain name. This information will be included in the Server ID as part of its distinguished name.

Write down the name and address of your domain's registered owner. You will need to know the name of the registered owner and the domain and be able to enter it exactly the way it appears in the WHOIS Query Results.

Step 2: Proof of Right documentation
Before Getronics PinkRoccade can issue your Server ID, we need to know that your organization has the legal right to conduct business under the name you specify in your enrollment request. With your enrollment request, you must submit "Proof of Right" documentation that demonstrates your right to use the name specified in the request.

The simplest way for you to provide proof of right documentation is to give us your Dun & Bradstreet D-U-N-S number. Almost all established organizations in the US and abroad already have D-U-N-S numbers. Your ID will be issued several days sooner if yoiu use a D-U-N-S numbers.

Step 3: Generate a CSR from your server
You must submit a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) with your request for a Server Digital ID. A CSR is an encrypted file that contains your organization's public key, name, locality, and URL. To generate a CSR, you use your Web server software. When generating a CSR, a Web server creates two files: a private key, and a CSR.

Step 4: Request Certificate
Based on the informathion gathered during the first three steps you can request your certificate
