Securing websites or web applications

The secure website access service enables organizations to protect access to (parts of) websites or web applications using digital certificates. The identity and the rights of end users are determined on the basis of the user certificate. Authenticated users will have access to the web application over an encrypted/secured SSL connection.

Examples of secured websites

Examples of websites where strict security access is required are portals, ERP systems and general websites where sensitive information is made available. In this strong authentication solution, digital certificates replace the vulnerable user name/password mechanism.

Extension smart cards and tokens

This solution can be enhanced with smartcards and tokens, for the storage of the end user certificates, Multi-domain Single Sign On and Qualified Certificates for irrefutable and legally valid transactions.
